How to choose suitable ski resort in Poland for me?

First, decide what type of ski resort you’re looking for.

Do you want a small and intimate resort, or something larger and more developed?

Are you beginner, intermediate or advanced skier?

Are you on budget & want to save some pennies?

Once you’ve decided on the size and scope of the resort, it’s time to look at location. Poland has ski resorts scattered across the country, so take into account both how far you’re willing to travel and what type of scenery you want to ski in.

If you’re looking for a breathtaking mountain vista, Zakopane in southern Poland is a great choice. But if you’re more interested in convenience and accessibility, then Karpacz in the west may be a better fit.

Finally, don’t forget to factor in cost when choosing a ski resort. Poland is generally a very affordable country, but ski resorts can vary widely in price. So be sure to do your research and find a resort that fits both your budget and your skiing needs.

With these tips in mind, you’ll be sure to find the perfect ski resort for your next winter vacation.

Where should I stay?

The snow-capped mountains and plunging valleys create a scene of breathtaking beauty, and the small mountain town has a distinctively relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of winter activities, from skiing and snowboarding to husky sledding and ice climbing. And after a long day on the slopes, there’s nothing better than relaxing in a traditional Polish sauna.

When it comes to accommodation, Zakopane probably is the most popular and most expensive.

There are luxurious ski lodges with all the latest amenities, cosy bed-and-breakfasts tucked away in the mountains, and simple self-catering apartments for those who want to experience life like a local.

Last but not least Travel Insurance

When most people think of travel insurance, they envision a sun-drenched beach or a tropical paradise. However, there are plenty of traps that can befall travelers in winter as well. In fact, one of the most common claims is for injured ankles, which can occur when people slip on icy sidewalks.

Winter sports enthusiasts may also want to consider insurance that covers skiing and other activities. And for those planning a trip to Poland, it’s worth remember that many policies exclude coverage for injuries sustained while participating in winter festivals.

With a little forethought, however, travelers can find the right insurance policy to protect themselves from whatever winter throws their way.
